We are looking for a UX designer who can run stakeholder workshops and conduct requirements gathering activities to understand business needs and find a balance with the needs of our end users. Someone who can run projects from concept through to delivery ensuring consistency and high-quality output where you translate business and user needs into meaningful, easy to use, and engaging solutions across many platforms.
In your role you will define, plan, and conduct user research (i.e., surveys, usability tests, interviews) to inform design decisions for various products and experiences. You should be able to identify, and articulate research needs and select the best approach where you utilise quantitative and qualitative research to generate meaningful insights that will drive impact.
User experience design
In your day-to-day tasks you will translate business and user needs into meaningful, easy to use, and engaging solutions across many platforms. You will be using tools such as Figma to develop sketches, wireframes, and prototypes to validate concepts and hypotheses with our end users. You should have the ability to present design ideas with clarity and passion and receive feedback with open-mindedness.
You will regularly collaborate with our UI, CI, Product, and Engineering teams to make decisions on the features we build as well as working with the design team to develop, evolve, and refine our design system. You need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to get buy-in on ideas within a large organisation.
- Minimum of 3+ years working at a customer-focused company.
- Fully competent with the latest tools and software such as Figma and Sketch
- Experience working in a deadline driven environment.
- Have a degree in Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, Social Science, or a related field.
- Show how you have brought what you have learned into a project.
- A portfolio showcasing your process.
